Life skills, Taekwon‑Do and games for 4 to 7 year olds.
About the class
Little PUMA's
These classes are tailored for 4-7 year olds. We have a focus on life skills as well as Taekwon-Do and games which promote teamwork, spatial awareness and more. All whilst having fun in a friendly environment.
They are taught by a former SEN teacher, with 11 years of experience and former Junior World and European Champion.
Themes covered include
- Focus & Concentration
- Stranger Awareness
- Emergency skills
- Memory
- Teamwork
- Discipline
- Balance
- Coordination, and fitness
At the end of each theme the students have a grading, a chance to show their knowledge to Mr Swain.
Training with Swain Taekwondo is a unique experience in a friendly environment. Mr and Mrs Swain are supportive and helpful with a great knowledge and expertise in taekwondo, running classes in an inclusive way, for all ages and abilities, and making it, especially for the little Pumas of age 4-7 fun and engaging.
My son is looking forward to his training every week, and the last 3 years, he has learnt a variety of themes: from self-defence to giving first aid, and he has improved massively his flexibility and concentration. His confidence and self-esteem have been boosted up, especially after the Totton Family fun day, where he performed with his instructors in front of a massive crowd.
Highly recommended classes for the whole family and brilliant value for the money.
